AITS has affliated to JNTUH, Hyderabad. Hence the College shall follow all the rules and regulations framed by the University time to time. The student admitted in B.Tech course has 4 year degree course, in Diploma course has 3 year diploma course, in M.Tech has 2 years of P.G. Course and  in M.B.A has 2 years of P.G.Course.

B.Tech 1st year is year wise system, where as from 2nd to final year, the course is semester wise system. B.Tech 1st year students are having  3 Mid exams and the average of the 3 mid exams will be considered to add in the final marks. B.Tech 2nd to final year students are having 2 mid exams in a given semester and the average of 2 mid exams will be considered as final mid marks. For every subject, 25 marks are allotted to mid examinations and 75 marks are allotted to external examinations. Out of 100 marks, student should get a minimum of 26 marks in the external examination and by adding the mid marks, the overall minimum marks to pass the subject are 40.

Every 3rd year B.Tech student has to undergo a Mini Project, which carries 50 marks. The final year student  to undergo Main Project, which carries 150 marks,  Comprehensive viva voce, which carries 100 marks, Seminar, which carries 50 marks.

Diploma is year wise system in the 1st year and it is semester wise system form 2nd to final year. Diploma 1st year student has 3 mid exams and the average of 3 mid exams will be considered for the final mid marks. Diploma 2nd to final year students are having 2 mid exams and the average of 2 mid exams will be considered for final mid marks. Diploma 3rd year students has to undergo for Industrial training for one semester and carries 100 marks. For every subject, 25 marks are allotted for mid exams and 75 marks are allotted for external marks.

M.Tech is 2 years course and is  semester wise system in both 1st and 2nd year.  Students has 2 mid exams in every semester. The average of 2 mid exams will be considered for final mid marks. For every subject, 40 are the mid marks and 60 are the external marks.

M.B.A. is also 2 years course and is  semester wise system in both 1st and 2nd year.  Students has 2 mid exams in every semester. The average of 2 mid exams will be considered for final mid marks. For every subject, 40 are the mid marks and 60 are the external marks.

Every student of all the programs should maintain a minimum of 75% of attendance to get eligibility to appear External examinations. Student who maintains a minimum of 65% of attendance has to produce a Medical Certificate and has to pay a condonation fees, to get eligibility to appear for External examinations. Students whose attendance falls less than 65% will be detained by the University and such students will be detained and will loose one academic year.
